17. What are the people around you doing right now?
Daisy's sleeping. The kid upstairs is bouncing on the floor.

18. Do you give up easily on things when they get tough, or are you a stick-to-it person? Can you think of examples when your usual approach was the wrong thing to do?
It really depends on the situation.

19. You've just been chosen as the eighth dwarf. What's your name?
A Disney dwarf name for me would be Itchy.

I'm mostly ambidextrous. My dexterity is limited now but that's because of the muscular dystrophy.

10. Have you ever been sky diving, bungee jumping or scuba diving?

OMG, no. I would have tried scuba diving, if I'd had the opportunity, but, as for the other two, I'll keep my feet on the ground, thanks.

9. What is a mistake people often make about you?

For some bizarre reason, people on the phone often mistake my first name of Sarah for Vera. I guess it's the way I say it.

I've just wandered down the rabbit hole warren of James and Alice Bolland (my g-g-g-grandparents) and the baptisms they had for their 11 (!) kids.

On the one hand, it makes them easier to find. On the other, you come across the records for the birth, baptism, death at 11 months, and Christmas Day burial of their daughter Elizabeth (January - December 1879).

It's just rather sad and weird to think of. At least they're all together again now (barring any reincarnation).

Did you know on the Find-a-Grave site you can leaves virtual flowers on the graves? Well, now you know. :o)

8. What is the worst food you've ever had to force yourself to eat to be polite?

A stuffed pepper. I hate peppers.

It was Elaine's (my aunt's) wedding. She'd told me the veggie option would be pasta. When it came, it was a small stuffed pepper. Everyone else had a full roast dinner on their plates. Christine had gone with me, and she looked at my plate and whispered, "Is that all they're giving you?!"

At least the dessert was nice. I was absolutely starving when I got home though.

7. Did you have a teacher who inspired you to learn and grow as person?

Not really. I had a couple of teachers I really liked who were very good at their jobs, but I think I was too messed up in my teens to be inspired by anyone.
